Delays & Cancellations

Inclement Weather Cancellations

The decision to cancel a session due to inclement weather (i.e. thunderstorms, heat advisories) and flooded courts will be made at least 1 hour prior to the start of the session. We will send out an email regarding cancelations. 

Delay/Cancelations Policy 

Beach York will delay/cancel in the event of extreme weather or extreme weather threats (i.e. lightning/thunderstorms, heavy rain, excessive heat advisories, etc.)  In the event that the decision is made to cancel a session prior to it’s start time, players will not be permitted on the premises as Beach York staff will not be on site. In the event of a delay during a session while the players are on site, players will be permitted to stay on the premises to wait out the delay. If the decision is made to cancel the remainder of the of the scheduled day, please make arrangements to pick up your child as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation during our normal session hours, Beach York staff will remain on site until the last player leaves.

Make up sessions will be on Friday of the same week of camp. Make-up sessions will be permitted if/when a player’s scheduled sessions have been cancelled. Players do not need to inform Beach York if they can or cannot attend the Friday built in make up day. 

If an athlete cannot make up their canceled session on Friday of the same week of camp where the session was canceled, a player may attend another session during a different week of camp. When requesting a make-up session, players must email me and state the date of the cancelled session and the date of the make-up session they wish to attend. This request must be approved from the Program Director prior to attendance of the rescheduled session. 

Please note that session delays DO NOT count as a cancellation.  

Please note that we do not offer additional make up sessions during non camp weeks.

ALL players will be required to have a form on file, even those who are able to transport themselves. This form will be filled out when you register. If a player does not have permission to leave the campus ,then they will not be permitted to leave designated Beach York areas and must stay on campus until they are picked up by a parent. 

Arrival and Departure

All players must sign in (name, date & time) upon arriving. The same will be required for departure during the athletes lunch break. 

Sorry friends and family, Beach York Camps is for players only. Beach York appreciates all of the support that is given to it’s athletes by both friends and family. However, we do not allow spectators during our training/camp sessions.
